Eurostile has a lowercase alphabet and some additional weight, like Compact. Eurostile has a variety of weights and widths, which enhances its popularity. Microgramma was a titling font with only uppercase letters, which came in various weights. Aldo Novarese designed Eurostile, and the Italian foundry Nebiolo published it in 1962 to replace Microgramma, which he had helped design. Eurostile is a geometric sans-serif font.
